Salman Khan’s Father Salim Khan Did Not Like RADHE, says it’s NOT a great film at all!

The legendary screenwriter and Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan is known to wear his heart on his sleeve. He has publicly panned out his son’s latest release, Radhe.

In an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Salim Khan said, “Radhe is not a great film at all, but commercial cinema has a responsibility that every person can get money. From artists to producers, distributors, exhibitors and every stakeholder should get the money. The one who buys the cinema must get the money. Due to this, the cycle of cinema making and business goes on. On this basis, Salman has performed. Stakeholders of this film are at advantage. Otherwise, Radhe is not that great a film.”

Talking about Khan’s older films, he added, “The film prior to this Dabangg 3 was different. Bajrangi Bhaijaan was good and totally different.”

Throwing light on the film writers today, Salim added he feels that there are no good writers in the industry today because they do not read literature in Hindi or Urdu. The writers today see anything outside of India and start Indianising it. He also feels that the industry has not received the replacement of Salim-Javed yet.
