The heat is certainly getting to us. Right?
The weather is intensely hot with the air-conditioners giving up on us too.
But have you thought about what students and the members of the working class are going through? Especially because they have to spend extensive time outdoors, particularly security guards who don’t have access to air-conditioners and mostly the only access to a proper functioning breeze is the one coming from nature’s end.
Now during this intense punishment from the creator’s side, one would want to be donning comfortable clothes at least right? Which give us some relief by air passing through the thin material so the most ideal item of clothing would be thin cotton but what would you say regarding security guards whose uniform is made out of polyester?
Certain celebrities of Pakistan feel super bad for everyone who has to indulge in any type of work during this scorching heat.
Singer Ali Zafar took to his social media and posted: “ANY education system/institute/teacher/parent or person that puts unbearable mental or physical pressure on a child or a young one in their prime years of innocence, learning and joy knows NOTHING about knowledge or wisdom.”
Certainly Ali. Wisdom is a rare concept.
Singer Meesha Shafi also tweeted, “This is so agonistic! Polyester uniforms should be banned to make things easier for the security guards in this scorching heat”.
She further wrote, “Polyester uniforms have no place in our region. Normalize cotton/muslin shalwar kurtaz… Schools kids, guards, whoever.”
Actor Aagha Ali took to his Instagram story, “The heat is just killing these days. I had to stop shooting as it was 44°C in Lahore and even in Islamabad today. Please bachon par reham karein. Start the schools after their summer vacations. This one week just for the fees! Sharam karein, rehem karein.”
