While talking to MediaSpringPK about her comeback Fatima said:

“It is good to be back on screen, however, I was bit nervous on the day one of the shoot as I was facing camera after a long break. Also the show that I am hosting now is different from what I have done in the past – This is more about entertainment, talent hunt of singing and dancing etc. Miss Tech on Mazaaq Raat more about technology updates and it was very much of an infotainment, political satire talk show.”

In July, Fatima Sohail had alleged that she suffered domestic abuse at the hands of the actor and her then husband Mohsin Abbas Haider. Sohail had posted on Facebook saying the incidents started from November last year when she claims she found Haider to be cheating on her. While fellows from the industry claim to be witnesses to the domestic abuse, Mohsin Abbas denies these allegations. In September, Lahore Family Court approved Fatima Sohail’s request for khula and issued a decree to that effect.

Fatima Sohail says that her son is her biggest motivation and all the positivity that she needs:

“Whatever I am doing today is all because of my son, and that is why I think Allah Almighty has sent him in my life; to keep me going. After all that I have faced in my life, my son is the hope I have.”

Fatima Sohail studied Business Administration Services from Delaware, USA and started her media career with Mazaaq Raat on Dunya News in 2013. In 2015 she joined Neo TV where she was not only part of the pioneer team of the channel but also she was the face of Neo TV Network’s newscast team.
